I chose this photo because of the sharpness of the fence and the fog blurring the background a little bit. The camera was at eye level, facing straight ahead. The rule of thirds is apparent here because the top of the fence is on the lower third. The mood of this image is pleasing and captivating. I was in the street looking through the bar of the football field/track area. |
I chose this photo because of the leading line in the middle. The camera was close to the ground. The mood is engaging. I was crouching down to get this view. I believe the subject matter does hold the viewer's attention because your eye starts at the bottom and goes through until the fog cuts you off.

I chose this photo because of its shallow depth of field and detail on the pillar. The camera was close to the pillar, capturing the detail of the littler rocks. The rule of thirds is shown by the pillar in the corner going off into the background. The mood of this image is calm and appealing. I was in between two pillars right in front of the other ones. I believe the subject matter does hold the viewer's attention because of the leading lines.
